The current location on Park Street in Mundelein was owned by Flavia Shepherd under the name Scissors & More for 18 years. La Flavia Salon was born July 20, 2006. It was this day in which many things changed for this young, driven entrepreneur and now business owner, Taylor Shepherd. La Flavia Salon is named in honor of Taylor’s grandmother Flavia Shepherd and great great grandmother, Flavia Marie Duba Elfering.
